Ian began CrossFit in April 2010 after seeing a video of the 2009 CrossFit Games on YouTube. He was immediately hooked. Prior to this Ian had very little sporting or athletic experience having never done anything more than some running and push ups. He quickly became immersed in CrossFit and could not believe the results that it yielded.
Ian has been coaching since 2010 beginning at various gyms in the UK before moving to Melbourne in October 2011 and joining the Schwartz team that November.

Siobhan's passion for health and fitness started at a young age when she competed as a championship dancer in the UK. From there she has progressed in the health and fitness industry, gaining a Diploma in Sports Coaching and Personal Training and pushing the limits in her physical capability.
With a passion to travel and to share her knowledge, Siobhan travelled to the US and spent2 seasons coaching children in summer camp. Hungry for more Siobhan set her sights on Melbourne, Australia, where she worked as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and corrective exercise therapist.
While working and training in a "globo gym" environment, Siobhan was approached to represent a fitness modelling company who gave her the opportunity to compete in Australia. Through Siobhan's dedication and thirst to succeed, she was asked to represent Australia in the World Universe competition in Austria, where she went on to achieve a top 10 ranking in her category.
Looking for her next challenge Siobhan was invited by a friend to try out a crossfit class at Schwartz's crossfit Melbourne. Siobhan was immediately hooked on the daily fitness challenge and progressions and this became her new motivation, to stay fit and reach her goals.
Siobhan thrives on sharing her coaching knowledge and ensuring people move and challenge themselves daily. She believes everyone should know how great their bodies are meant to feel and crossfit as a whole, will certainly ensure that.
